ursine1, I wouldn't take that as gospel because after they changed the policy from 2-years-after-expiration to 1-year-after-expiration, they informally went back to 2-year but never made it advertised policy.
Not sure if you meant to reply to me or not; the post I deleted noted that the ability to pay $50 to reissue awards doesn't apply to new RR 2.0 "top off" awards; those created using a combination of points and credits. I realized it didn't really apply in this situation.
