When my LAS-LHR reward flight was cancelled for mid Dec 2012, I was automatically moved to the following day, I called up and they put me on the SFO-LHR flight we had wanted originally. We live near SFO and had only chosen LAS because it was the only airport with reward availability that close to Xmas.
