I thought something was amiss over the weekend when I tried to book LAX-SYD via LHR for October. The fare was incredibly low $8k RT in UC. After I selected the flights it wouldn't let me book and kept telling me the flights were no longer available despite re-selecting different flights.

Hey ho - BA I guess.

FYI- The stop over in LHR was perfect for a afternoon meeting in London and dinner with an old friend. Oh yes and 30+ tier points!
