Additionally, on summer flights from LHR (to NCE at least), rows 1-3 are blocked for GCH only.
I suspect that it correlates with the total number of rows initially set aside for CE, and doesn't necessarily have anything to do with departure/arrival airports.
On most of my flights ex-LHR (which have small CE cabins to row 3 or 4 at most), it was only row 1 that was blocked. On flights with larger CE cabins (LPA to row 12, for example
), row 2 was blocked too.
