The Hampton Inn is downtown. I should say, there is a Hampton Inn downtown. I don't know if there are multiples. You would be closest to the Malecon and museums.

You do realize, I hope, that Guayaquil doesn't have a huge number of tourist sights. It's not at the Quito level of things to do. What it has, I do like, and most of those things to see are downtown.
