So that looks like the end of the physical golden ticket, will this be good news for those like CIHY who felt the original scheme a waste of time, or will it be worse for them as now they can't just quietly discard their golden ticket and will now have to attend the pat on the back meeting in their own time?

For those who were supporters of the idea now you don't have the instant gratification of a job well done.

Personally I think the best scheme would have been to simply promote ba.com/welldone better and have some sort of rewards for those who consistently get good feedback.
