Trip Partially in vain - I do not want my refund / All I want is my unflown flies

Originally, one PNR
Jan 10: ICN-NRT-SFO-DCA
Jan 21: BWI-DEN-NRT-ICN (my first 787 experience)

Something happened. I had to go to ATL on Jan 17. So I flew FL DCA-ATL and booked ATL-ORD-BWI (Jan 20) to position myself in BWI for my flight to ICN next day on Jan 21.

DL or FL ATL-BWI (Jan 20) were cheaper than UA ATL-ORD-BWI. Knowing that winter weather delay and mixing airlines would be a disater, I decided to pay $100 more to stay with one airline UA even though two PNRs (ATL-ORD-BWI on Jan 20 / BWI-DEN-NRT-ICN on Jan 21).

As expected, my first leg ATL-ORD was delayed 3.5 hours due to "aircraft servicing". It made it impossible to make a connection to BWI at ORD (last flight on Jan 20). I would not be able to arrive in BWI in time (next morning) for my BWI-DEN-NRT-ICN. I called UA and UA agent re-routed me ATL-DEN-NRT-ICN the next day (Jan 21). So my ATL-ORD-BWI-DEN portion was gone and I flew ATL-DEN instead.

ATL-ORD-BWI is in a different PNR. I think I might get lucky to get refund for this domestic portion.

However, I am not asking refund. I am looking for miles ATL-ORD-BWI-DEN instead of ATL-DEN. Difference is less than 1500 miles. However, now it becomes crucial, since I am 60 miles short for 2P and my ICN-NRT-IAH trip is coming up next week.

I emailed to UA customer service about two weeks ago. Still, waiting for the response.

Also, I called UA agent here in Korea. The agent asked me a scan of my boarding pass. I am not sure contacting two at the same time is a good idea or not.
