I noticed this when checking in earlier for EWR-MUC departing tomorrow evening.

Since EWR terminal B also serves DL and AS, both of whom participate in PreCheck, they may scan the BP (if it's like other checkpoints, I'll hold the phone up to the scanner myself before they even notice it's LH and can deny it).

If I put my TT# in, will it somehow transmit and encode the BP for PreCheck? Or is the Known Traveler field's existence just for some future to-be-determined use/implementation?
