Transborder Transit through YYZ has improved a lot in past 12-18 months, been impressed
I would agree that from domestic/international to transborder has improved significantly with the new luggage system... but I wouldn't say the same for transborder to domestic.
The issue I usually experience is that I need to pick up my bags at the carousel, and then head back through domestic security. Lately, I've found it's 10 minutes to customs (I have Nexus), 20-40 minutes for bags, and then 10 minutes through security again.
Typically, I need 45 minutes still, and I've had to rebook a flight or two.
Also to note - AC Express is typically a long walk, at the end of the US gates.
