I've flown that route a lot and didn't miss once in 2013. I was a E75K.

That said I didn't book 2 weeks out. I would book closer (within a couple of days) and try to find a flight with R space, or at least lots of J space. Anything less than J5 I would avoid if possible. I was coming from YYJ so I had an extra CNX which apparently helps.
