Even with your nudge I'll probably find it hard to use points for a Hampton Inn, partly because in the past I've typically used Hamptons to earn status/points and redeemed for Hilton, Conrad, WA -- but on reflection there are certainly occasions (e.g. road trips) when it would make sense. So thanks!
