Henry - thanks for the response. I talked to KLM last week and they said the 643 will go back to 7 days per week soon. It was actually an odd conversation as the person I talked to appeared to suggest they don't currently have enough 747s for all regular 747 services?

To be honest I didn't question it and BA got the money - 3 of us travelled. Which was also a shame as yesterday's evening flight was, to out it bluntly, absolute rubbish. I would have loved to fly KLM long haul again but meetings and diaries wouldn't permit this time.
