How to handle very long flights when taking fiber therapy for "regularity"

I have been feeling "irregular" lately, and have been taking psyllium husk fiber supplement. Unfortunately, the "regularity" that I generally have is something that I most definitely do not want on a net 9 hour transatlantic flight! I typically am able to offload my colonic contents right before getting on a flight, and then right after I arrive. Perhaps I am able to do this so well because I typically have a few beers early in the flight, and additionally with the general dryness of the airplane, and thus am in a slightly dehydrated state. However, I have never been on such a flight while on this therapy, and I don't want to destroy my record with a "brown & blue ice" incident, if I can help it. I figure that I will just not take the therapy the night before, but am wondering if I should take something like Imodium to help cancel out the fiber therapy - something of course I am a bit war of doing that!
