Update for anyone who is interested in an update on my post #687 (now or later).

I called my credit card company and just asked, very matter of factly, what does "DO NOT HONOR" mean for Priceline. The operator told me that it shows that an "incorrect expiry date" was put through...but the amount was for 0.00 so I have no idea what that's all about.

[There was no incorrect expiry date either...unless they manually changed it...]

Regarding the ETIHAD charge that said "APPROVED"...she said that it will sit like that until the 4th business day after the transaction and then it will become "CONFIRMED".

I asked, "Is it ever possible that the merchant doesn't take the money and it just drops off?"

She said...unless there is some discrepancy in the dollar amount agreed on then the merchant must go through with the transaction.

The odd thing here is that I went through Priceline for the purchase...

Oh well, I don't know what to make of it...but there it is.

***It will be interesting if Priceline tries to back out of the sale by saying that there was a credit card issue AFTER Etihad had already run through my card and approved the charges in full...@@
