I guess this program has been floating around for a while but I could find very little discussion of it here at FlyerTalk. Stumbling around JetBlue's website the other day, I decided to see how many TrueBlue points I could earn by signing up for their
Badges Game.
I was really pleasantly surprised to find it's possible to earn up to
2,050 TrueBlue points without earning a single flight badge by earning as many of their loyalty badges as possible. To do this, all you need is a Facebook and Twitter account.
Once you sign up and connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts...
1) Invite 30 Facebook Friends to the program.
2) Share your map of where you've flown (you can do this even if your map is empty, because only trips flown after signing up for the Badges game show up)
3) Share each one of your badges to Facebook and Twitter, including badges you earn for sharing to Facebook and Twitter!
4) Login to the Badges website 10 times using Chrome's Incognito Mode or Safari's Private Browsing in order to quickly amass "10 visits" for one of the final badges you can earn without flying.
Once you earn a couple badges from flights, following this method will unlock another couple hundred points on top of the 2,050 you can earn right away, which are worth about $30.
Did I miss any free points? I think this maximizes the program for those that are joining the Badges game from scratch, but let me know if you find any other free points that can be earned using Badges before flying!
