Just to add a data-point, this has been broken since at least November, when I was trying to book the route (because my preferred date wasn't available for AUH in October).
Saying that, just tried Raffles trick of pretending to use the 241 voucher - and that works fine. Bizarre. Sadly, now only availability in First, but I won't make the other F passengers suffer my kids!

I managed to book AUH-DOH through ba.com with Qatar. I imagine you could do the same? There was some oddness post-booking however. A week or two after my booking, it fell off ba.com. I called to ask what happened. Days later, after investigating, BA said Qatar had cancelled my tickets because they couldn't see a valid booking in the system. Nonetheless, BA reinstated it, and all good again. I imagine it's teething issues...
It's a shame I can't choose my seats on the Qatar flight through ba.com. (I've done it directly through Qatar's site, albeit that too didn't work quite as well as it should have. It appears the first row or two are blocked, and won't let me seat my family across one row. A call to BA fixed it, though still not in the first row).
