Having never rented with National before, how does it work the first time I use it? From what I gather, I just take the car and show my license and credit card when I exit? I know if Avis the first time I used Preferred I needed to go to the counter to verify my license.
When I used Emerald for the first time, I couldn't believe that I could just go to the aisle, pick the car and drive out. So I went to the counter, and the lady looked at my reservation and said you don't need to see me, just go to the aisle and show your license and credit card at the exit gate when you're leaving with your chosen car.
It really is that easy.
