I wrote this to American Airlines today:
I want to express my dissatisfaction with the way the US airways and AA merger has been communicated. I am an AA executive platinum flyer. I was NOT notified that my regular AA flights were changing.
Even though even though USAirways and AA are code-shared, I can NOT view available seats on US Airways flights as indicated on the AA website.
Some Aa flights are no longer available or the prices have been I increased dramatically.
Now I have to book a flight online and then call the platinum desk to select a seat. Since i book 4 flights at a time, this is a significant productivity loss for me. You really should make sure the web functionality matches what's promised on your site.

As a loyal AA EP flyer, I feel penalized at now being at the "back of the bus" because the merger changed the rules. Please tell me why I should remain an EP since my status is no longer valued.
Thanks American
