Hello from Denmark

My daughter (18 years old) and I are going to New York on holliday this summer and we have booked hotel in Harlem. We are planning to take the train from JFK to Harlem 125th Street station and walk from there to our hotel at 120th Street. We will arrive at the station at about 11 o'clock (pm???) in the evening. It looks like the walk is about one mile.

My question is: Will it be safe for two women, one young and one middleaged (with luggage), to walk in Harlem at night?
