No, there's no such news, and it's not likely to be announced for a while. True AA - US integration won't occur for some time, and I doubt VCE is in the picture for the new AA. (I could be wrong, and perhaps when the 787 comes...)

OTOH, it's not so bad to use your SWU to LHR or other airport for what is a relatively short connection (eastbound in particular, though I'd cast about for a JFK-MIA-LHR or the like to get some more horizontal time out of it).
