The connections might not be sensible, but they would be perfectly legal, as long as the MCT were satisfied. (BAEC now charges for each flight flown, so you can connect wherever you please).



ATH-AMM-IST should cost 15,000 Avios per person one way in Economy. Plus BAEC's surcharges, of course, which might make buying a cash ticket on another carrier the wiser option.
