I suspect by "rebook" UA just means what happened to the reservation in the post above. You'll be rebooked on the actual Jet flight number and the code share will disappear. Same metal, no longer UA number.

Happy FAA is being serious about these certifications despite the huge political context. This is a huge headache for FAA management. I trust aviation safety in the US precisely because aviation authorities can truly put safety ahead of other considerations.
