US travel, B1 Domestic Employee Visa

Has anyone had to apply for one for a nanny/carer etc?

I'm applying for one for my fathers carer for a planned trip to vegas (241 Avios redemption!) for him at the end of the month, and have discovered stuff like the need for a contract at the last minute, including provisions for US minimum wage, state and local law and working hours. I've wisked up something that looks good from but not sure how robust its supposed to be since we're very casual.

Just wondering if they're asking for and/or inspect a lot of these papers since some people have told me that they don't look at anything and their mind is pretty much made up in advance....

It seems I also have to include 6 months of my bank statements in addition to all of the usual things, any idea how else this goes down? and how the interview is? -A big stumbling block is she doesn't have a lease/rental agreement which I assume is a big negative to showing ties to the UK.

She's in the uk on a student visa, studying caring, and is on a 1 year work placement, so is allowed to work in this field...

Thoughts etc?
