I have quite a lot of TD points on my First Class Travel Infinite and was thinking of converting to the new card. I would have gone for the VIP if the Hilton deal was still in play, but now I guess it's just for the bonus miles, which the other one is fine for.
I wonder if anyone has applied their point balance to past travel expenses rather than converting to AE miles. I thought there were two ways of using the points, by directly paying for travel with the points, or by applying them to past travel spending. However, I have never redeemed any points by either method and thought I'd ask if anyone had done that.
