I can't see this happening - the CC have a plan (don't know what the right terminology is) of who's supposed to be in each seat, and therefore they will know which CW seats are supposed to be empty.
I would hope that the CC would challenge anyone who appears to be in a seat which should be vacant.
They probably just think it's staff!!!
. But seriously can't happen as they look at their sheet to address you by name for the first drinks round before they completely forget about it and address you as sir or madam for the rest of the flight.
