Doesn't mean the pocket is designed for storage of a phone in an overhead bin. Could be the weight of the phone means the momentum of the phone is greater, also curious to how protected this pocket actually is considering something could have hit it while movement in the overhead locker!

To me sounds like the pocket is unsuitable for the use when used in the overhead bin and could it be argued should the phone have hit someone and injured them you should be liable for storing a phone in such a way that could lead to injury!

Personally I think its just an accident and thus the owner of the phones responsibility and certainly I would never consider such a pocket suitable to store my phone in for such a situation, seems like its asking for trouble to me!
