About the taxi app, this must be another IT mystery. Any ays I don't really need it. Anyone who has been living in Beijing over a year should be able to tell his taxi driver where he is going.
"Addresses" are worthless in most Chinese cities (Shanghai is an exception). To get to the really interesting places, having a local in tow is useful. Wechat solves this problem.
