All BA aircraft, both short and long haul carry AED's at BA and all cabin crew are trained to use it. As well as this vital piece of equipment, we, as crew have various procedures to handle a medical situation, alongside various medical equipment. BA also pay for the use of a company where we can communicate with, almost anywhere in the world there are exceptions) who can provide physician advice, support etc. They will also liaise and advise on diversion points.
