IMHO you need to look at this as a potential opportunity as opposed to a potential problem. Assuming you booked your ticket with a credit card that has delayed baggage insurance, tight connections should be viewed as a lottery ticket for subsidized shopping at your destination.

Don't worry about it. Chances are your bags will make it. Take a couple of days worth of clothing in your carry-on and you'll be fine.
