Not answering your question, but I was once on a LH flight from FRA to YYZ when we started to descend somewhere near Iceland. There was a request for a doctor to board to make themselves known. I was on the UD and overhear to head FA say something to the captain about heart attack. Captain did an announcement that we were making a diversion for a medical emergency. About 20 minutes later we begin to climb again. Captain says we won't be diverting after all. FA says something along the lines of 'he didn't make it'. The weird thing was they put him in an empty F seat with a blanket covering his body.
