Its pointless to do so, but logical to codeshare with QR not only to DOH but onwards to those destinations that they have just cancelled.

Saudi Arabian destinations don't carry high traffic and the female cabin crew hate doing them. They have to wear the abaya from head to toe the minute they arrive at the crew hotel and they cannot be seen in public without one. They even need to wear one when ordering room service at the hotel...

So it seems best for CX to codeshare with QR for those destinations from now on.
