This part gave me a chuckle.

So they won't be charging you a fee...

Awfully nice of them...

And so let's say you do not confirm the email or do...but do not agree to the cancellation?

FYI, I have multiple bookings and have not contacted anyone.

I don't see a need to, at least until I get nearer to the cutoff date, where I must keep the booking or get free cancellation...
