IIRC, DL's F/As are cross-trained on all aircraft.

I'm not sure stickers are any better. I was on a DFW-LAX flight on AA two days ago and, while I was on paid premium fare, I felt bad for those people on the list, as it was well beyond only 61 folks looking for an upgrade.
