As far as breakfast is concerned. From what I'm reading it sounds like breakfast is served in two areas: lounge and main floor? I have a king suite bay room (took advantage of the 50% discount that included breakfast) under my confirmation number. I'm assuming these guests will be getting the breakfast that's included downstairs? If so, do I, as an executive room guest, get the choice of either two? Which is better?

If you are on the Executive floor, I believe you would have access to both breakfasts. I'd suggest you walk through the E-Lounge and check out the choices -- if you are happy there, go there. If not, check out the place downstairs.
We used both, liked both, but used the one downstairs more.
I was a big fan of the "tomago onsen" which was only available downstairs.
