I actually took an OAK-SEA flight last summer that had 1 hr 36 minute scheduled block time. The flight itself was around 90 minutes. It was like negative padding.
I feel like the transcons have more padding than the short flights.
they all pad. AA pads the MKE-ORD flights usually as 45 minutes. If its on time which is rare, the flight is 7 to 10 minutes
