In fairness the single Singapore flight was the only QF flight here and that arrived too late in SIN to go anywhere.

Maybe the bottom line is it is not possible for an 'end of the line' geographically country to have an international airline - which would be ironic because it was our location that gave QF along with Pan Am and KLM the opportunity open up intercontinental aviation.

If it were a level global playing field QF could have HKG as it's main hub rather than SYD but I don't think the Hong Kong authorities would be as co-operative as necessary.
