Personally, I think it will put pressure on fares ex-Boston. Anecdotal evidence, but many of my colleagues are looking forward to fly EK or TK to India as they don't have to fly the "disgruntled and rude European airlines" anymore.
India is one market where I think they will really eat into the traffic flowing over the EU. US-India is a challenging market already, as well.
