I could fly W on VS to LGW, hop on an Easy Jet flight for $75 USD to Munich, and fly home on DL in Y+.
Whenever I search for MSP-CDG in M+, delta.dumb shows me lots of W fares on the AF operated flights which appear to be easy to combine with either M/B of Z/I. Try advanced search by fare class.
