I will shortly be flying from Auckland to Hobart on Qantas - booked as one flight via the Qantas website.

As Qantas don't fly directly to Hobart it's actually 2 flights, into Melbourne then a second flight 2 hrs 20 minutes later to Hobart.

When I booked it I assumed that I will check my luggage in at Auckland and then not see it again until Hobart - is this correct?
