Just arrived at T5 on BA 286 from SFO.
We were held on the plane for 10 minutes and were told that there was a loading issue and that the aircraft would tip on its tail unless we disembarked all of the rear cabin first. All of the CW passengers were held back until the main cabin had emptied.
I was a bit surprised to hear this.
Anyone else experienced it or care to comment?
The load must have shifter en-route and this would have been noticeable and correctable in flight using the trim tanks to move fuel around the plane but it is a bad state of affairs and the loadmaster in SFO will be in for a few questions!
