... If we're going to bulldoze sad and terrible terminals let's start with LAX T3, IAH Terminal A, LGA Terminal B, JFK T2... there are plenty of bad buildings to replace. And the odds of any being replaced with "something far grander and far more majestic" than the Saarinen building are long indeed.
@matrixwalker2012 - you are entitled to your opinions, but the preservationists have already won this round ... and the prevailing theme here seems to be that that's a good thing

it's somewhat ironic that a structure that fairly well defined "futuristic" and "visionary" in the 1960s is now so obsolete

I took dozens of black-and-white photos in and around the TWA terminal in the 1970s when I was traveling to and from college, and spent FAR too much time in various campus darkrooms playing around with cropping and contrast to make some rather dramatic prints ... I haven't actually looked at them in a number of years, since they're in storage in my house back in Seattle; hopefully they have survived ...
