Well, after reading this thread, I decided to give it a go, given that it seemed they were pretty loose with the card. I just completed a mini app o rama a couple of weeks ago and am still fighting tooth and nail with cap one to get the 50k venture card that was offered briefly, so I was not overly optimistic. But I really wanted this card for the 10k EQM and lounge access, so the 75k was too good not to at least give it a go.
This one was a piece of cake. Got the "please call us" message, and he asked a few questions about moving credit and that was that. Confirmed 75k.
I have the AA plat, and had the AA gold for a year but cancelled it a few months ago. I have one other citi card. But the important data point is that I previously had this card -- I got it back when spend counted for MM status and cancelled it about a year ago.
