I'd have them move you to the later flight. I've connected at CDG many times and 45 minutes is really cutting it close, even with Access n1. And if you have checked luggage, forget about it. I always make sure to have at least one change of clothes in my carry-on since at this point, I just assume my checked bag has a 50/50 shot of not arriving with me, based on my personal track record with AF.
