I think that Hertz running cars to 72k is a bad idea for them since rentals generally get beat on... I was assigned a 2012 Ford Focus with ~60k miles... The car itself was in great shape (no dents/dings/scratches) for its age, but the car struggled to get to 20mph in less than ~10 secs because the tranny wasn't catching, but after it hit around 20mph, the car would act fine. I can't imagine that this car is the car that is beat on hard enough to have tranny problems
