Not sure why you are being so cryptic about this itinerary but a few possibilities for no MQM's might be (1) consolidator fare, (2) not 006 stock, or (3) did not add your FF number.

Again these were flights booked on DL.com but selected from Kayak. They are most certainly on 006 stock and not consolidator fares. I was logged in on DL.com at the time - it pulled up all my saved information when making the booking.
Overnight, my ATL-XXX flight was upgraded into RU.
I did a little more digging, and I'm seeing availability even on the return leg of something like JFK-GRU/REC-GRU-JFK around the same time. Leaving from MAO, BSB or SSA. I've only seen the error when leaving REC. I've not been able to find one on the outbound leg either.
