I'm not sure how these 2 pax affected other pax and it is not clear who else beside the FA knew. I'm not sure if the FA should be a "morals" police.
It wasn't so long that Air Canada was in the news for denying boarding to a chinese pax alledgedly for not possessing a travel visa when it is not required.
If i was the person in charge of travel for organisations that deal with morals such as religious organisations eg, churches or a chinese entity, i would certainty think twice before booking someone on air canada even if it was the cheapest option available. That's the consequences of reputation risk.
I say this not to inflame the community but to keep things in perspective and financially quantifiable.
