Sorry if someone already posted or alluded to this, there have been a lot of posts over the months. But I came across an article (dated 6 months before the airplanes even showed up) about the lavs on the 739, and that DL did
in fact know the lavs would be smaller.
I just can't get over the fact that they had the audacity to say this:
Despite the downsizing in toilet real-estate, Delta says passengers won't be able to notice the difference since the new design uses the wasted space behind sinks and the back of the washroom wall so seats in front of it will be able to recline, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Page after page of anecdotal evidence suggests this was exactly unnoticeable...
