In terms of cask beer, I think it would prove to be complicated to get this through the security processes to get airside. I might well be talking out of my rear-end of course, but I know that getting some products airside is easier than others...
Wetherspoons can do it and I think that pub next to the north lounge also does cask ales. They all have draught lager too (as did the bmi lounge in T1, before the takeover) so I don't see any security issues. I did say in my reply a few reasons why initially going with bottles may be a better idea.
Speaking of bars, what's happened to V-bar? I only just noticed it's closed. I normally have my eyes focused on the escalator to the lounge and never noticed it closed before.
