Interesting that you brought it up, since I had a similar situation on thursday (yvr-yow). The GA stopped me, which in turn stopped the line. He looked confused and I asked him if there was a problem, he told me to just go. On the flight, they didn't have my special meal, althouh I doubt that was the reason
