Called the number on the back of my card for the AA Platinum and had the $95 statement credit & 1,000 bonus for $1,000 spend over 16 billing periods applied to two cards.

Used VR's primarily to meet minimum spend and had some small spending ($500/mo) on one of the cards, the other was in a drawer.
Very happy to keep the cards open for awhile and look forward to the easy 4k Aadvantage miles per month!
